Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Skills Group

In this six week course you will learn the essential skills of mindfulness. You will join a select cohort so that you have time to ask questions, space to learn from each other, and the opportunity to gather support as you navigate new ideas.

Each week will offer a new concept that will deepen your understanding of mindfulness, in-group time to practice a skill that will help you embody that concept, and a homework assignment that will allow you to practice that skill throughout the week (approximately 5-10 minutes per day).

By the end of the course, you will understand how to build a mindfulness practice in the context of your own life that serves your own needs and goals.

Class Expectations:

  • Please arrive on time. If you join late you may remain in the waiting room until after the first practice in order to avoid disruption to others.

  • Please attend every session - if you anticipate missing more than one session, please wait for a later offering that will work better for your schedule.

  • Please be prepared to keep your camera on; groups will be kept small (fewer than 12 people) so that we can really connect with each other.

  • Anticipate daily homework assignments. Generally, these will not take more than 5-10 minutes per day, but building consistency in your practice requires a period of diligent repetition to build comfort and ease with the skills.

  • Payment is due in full at the time of registration; no refunds are offered.
